As part of a 20 person endeavor, this project aimed to resolve issues brought to attention by an actual client via methods of research, analysis, and subsequent design solutions. Group members analyzed building context, user behavioral patterns, building resource locations, interior conditions and so on. Mainly the issues posed by the client was the accelerated wear and tear and noise caused by an influx of students being brought to the building due to the buildings novelty upon opening. As designers we proposed new solutions to relieve these issues, while maintaining the buildings openness as a structure to all campus pedestrians.
